秀丽隐杆线虫中的蛋白质降解技术

摘 要:

蛋白质降解是生物体内的一个重要过程,它涉及蛋白质结构和功能的调节。特异性的蛋白质降解标签可用于研究目标蛋白的生理功能。该文主要介绍了模式生物秀丽隐杆线虫中的多种蛋白质降解技术及其应用。其中详细介绍生长素诱导降解系统的工作原理及该系统的优缺点,并进一步阐述了其衍生系统和改进策略。同时还介绍了秀丽隐杆线虫中其他的蛋白质降解策略,例如ZF1/ZIF-1 降解系统、GFP 抗体降解系统、光诱导降解系统和药物诱导降解系统,并简要分析了这些系统的优缺点。蛋白质降解技术不仅有助于了解细胞生物学过程,也有助于发现新的疾病治疗策略,这对理解生物体的生命活动和疾病防治都具有重要的意义。

Introduction of protein degradation technologies in Caenorhabditis elegans

Abstract:

Protein degradation is an important process in organisms, which involves the regulation of protein structure and function. The specific protein degradation tags can be used to study the physiological functions of target protein. In this article we mainly introduce various protein degradation techniques and their applications in the model organism Caenorhabditis elegans. We elaborate on the working principle, advantages and disadvantages of the auxin-induced degradation system, and further describe its derived systems and improving strategies in detail. In comparison, we introduce other protein degradation strategies, such as the ZF1/ZIF-1 degradation system, the GFP antibody degradation system, the light-induced degradation system and the drug-induced degradation system, and briefly analyze and discuss the advantages and disadvantages of these systems. The protein degradation technologies help us not only understand the biological processes, but also discover new disease treatment strategies, which will play a significant role in understanding the life activities and diseases prevention.
