摘 要:

细胞朊病毒蛋白(PrPC) 是一种高度保守的细胞表面糖蛋白,具有多种配体并在许多组织和细胞亚型中不同程度地表达,在中枢神经系统(CNS) 中高表达。研究发现PrPC 可通过减轻兴奋性毒性、炎症反应、氧化应激、凋亡以及促进神经再生及血管生成来减轻缺血性脑损伤。该文对PrPC 的基础信息、生理病理作用及在脑缺血中的作用机制进行综述,以期为防治脑缺血提供研究基础。

Abstract:

Cellular prion protein (PrPC) is a highly conserved cell surface glycoprotein with multiple ligands and is expressed in many tissues and cell subtypes to varying degrees, and is highly expressed in the central nervous system (CNS). Studies have found that PrPC can alleviate ischemic brain injury by reducing excitatory toxicity, inflammatory response, oxidative stress, apoptosis, and promoting nerve regeneration and angiogenesis. Therefore, this review aims to provide an overview of the fundamental knowledge of PrPC, its physiological and pathological functions, and the mechanisms by which it exerts its effects on the brain in ischemic conditions. This information is essential for the development of effective strategies for the prevention and treatment of ischemic brain injury.
