从π指数看中国生命科学与基础医学的发展——8年π指数分析报告(2016—2023)

摘 要:

    本研究基于π 指数算法和逻辑回归( 梯度下降法) 算法,选取π 指数知识库收录的122 种期刊8年(2015-2022) 近40 万篇研究型论文为研究对象,旨在探讨全球不同国家和机构在生命科学与基础医学领域的发展态势,解析中国生命科学与基础医学的发展。通过分析发现,美国在该领域的年度发文量及π 因子始终处于全球领先地位,中国的发展势头尤其突出,自2018 年起,其年度发文量及π 因子呈现快速上升趋势,增速居全球之首;从全球TOP500 机构8 年π 指数(π8) 分型结果来看,中国持续快速成长型机构数占比全球领先,其中中国科学院领跑持续快速成长型机构,其下属机构也在波动中快速增长;TOP100 机构中,中国机构主要分布在长三角、京津冀、粤港澳三个城市群中,其年度发文量、每年π 因子均呈现快速增长趋势;其中,长三角城市群持续快速成长型机构最多,8 年发文总量连续第一,京津冀每年π 因子连续8 年位居国内领先。北京大学、清华大学、复旦大学、上海交通大学、中山大学、浙江大学、中国医学科学院北京协和医学院等机构呈现持续快速成长的发展趋势。在过去8 年里,中国生命科学和基础医学取得了飞速发展,得益于“人才回流”和“资金投入”的双轮驱动,其科技创新发展进入快车道。

Development of life science and basic medicine in China from π index——eight-year π-index analysis report (2016-2023)

Abstract:

Based on π-index algorithm and logistic regression (gradient descent method) algorithm, this study takes nearly 400 000 research papers from 122 journals in 8 years as the research object, and explores the development trends of different countries and institutions in the field of life science and basic medicine around the world and analyze the development of life science and basic medicine in China. Through analysis, it is found that the number of papers published and π factor in the United States have always been the highest in the world, and the growth in China is particularly prominent. Since 2018, the number of papers published and π factor have increased rapidly, ranking first in the world. Judging from the eight-year π-index classification of global TOP500 institutions, the number of sustained and rapid growth institutions in China accounts for the leading position in the world, among which Chinese Academy of Sciences leads the sustained and rapid growth institutions, and the subordinate institutions of Chinese Academy of Sciences also grow rapidly in fluctuations; TOP100 institutions in China are mainly distributed in the Yangtze River Delta, Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei, Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao three urban agglomerations, and their annual publication volume and π factor all show a rapid growth trend; The Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration has the largest number of institutions with sustained and rapid growth, ranking first in the total number of papers published in eight consecutive years. Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei ranks first in China for eight consecutive years, and Peking University, Tsinghua University, Fudan University, Shanghai Jiaotong University, Sun Yat-sen University, Zhejiang University, Peking Union Medical College of China Academy of Medical Sciences and other institutions have sustained and rapid growth. In the past eight years, China's life sciences and basic medicine have grown rapidly. Driven by "talent return" and "capital investment", China's scientific and technological innovation and development in the fields of life sciences and basic medicine have entered the fast lane.
