Abstract:
The incidence of chronic pancreatitis (CP) is increasing year by year, and there is no curative treatment and a risk of developing pancreatic cancer in the later stage. The typical pathological features of CP are chronic inflammation and fibrosis of the pancreas. The development of CP is closely related to the three main intercellular interactions of acinar cell, macrophage and pancreatic stellate cell in the pancreatic microenvironment. But how exactly do they communicate between each other? Recent studies have shown that exosomes are important communication media between cells, and the miRNA they carry can affect the occurrence and development of CP by regulating intracellular gene expression and signaling pathways of the three major cells. In this paper, focusing on the mechanism of interaction between exosome-derived miRNA and the three main cells in the pancreatic microenvironment, the latest research progress was summarized and analyzed, in order to provide a reference for the in-depth understanding of the pathogenesis of CP.
