SIRT6在动脉粥样硬化中的研究进展

摘 要:

SIRT6 是Sirtuins 家族的一员,因具有脱乙酰酶活性而参与调节能量代谢、衰老、肥胖、胰岛素抵抗、炎症等众多生物学过程。最近的研究发现SIRT6 还能通过保护内皮细胞和血管平滑肌细胞、抗炎及调节脂质代谢等发挥抑制动脉粥样硬化发生发展的作用。该文就SIRT6 在动脉粥样硬化方面的研究进展进行综述。

Abstract:

SIRT6, a member of the Sirtuins family, is involved in many biological processes such as regulation of energy metabolism, aging, obesity, insulin resistance, and inflammation due to its deacetylase activity. Recent studies have found that SIRT6 can also inhibit the  development of atherosclerosis by protecting endothelial cells and vascular smooth muscle cells, anti-inflammation and regulating lipid metabolism. This article reviews the research progress of SIRT6 in atherosclerosis.
