细胞焦亡与糖尿病及其并发症的关系研究进展

摘 要:

细胞焦亡(pyroptosis) 是近年来新发现的一种程序性细胞死亡方式,其主要是由不同类型的半胱氨酸蛋白酶和促炎细胞因子的释放所触发的炎症反应。2 型糖尿病 (type 2 diabetes mellitus, T2DM) 是以慢性高血糖为主要特征的代谢性疾病,在长期高血糖的刺激下,患者处于慢性低度炎症状态,常造成如心血管、肾脏、眼睛,以及神经等组织器官发生慢性进行性病变。近年来研究发现细胞焦亡在T2DM 及其并发症中发挥重要作用,该文就细胞焦亡与糖尿病及其并发症的关系和机制进行综述。

Advances in the study of the relationship between pyroptosis and diabetes and its complications

Abstract:

Pyroptosis is a newly discovered type of programmed cell death in recent years, which is mainly an inflammatory response triggered by the release of different types of cysteine proteases and pro-inflammatory cytokines. Type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) is a kind of metabolic disease characterized by chronic hyperglycemia. Under the stimulation of long-term hyperglycemia, patients are in a state of chronic low-level inflammation, which often causes chronic progressive lesions in tissues and organs such as cardiovascular system, kidney, eye, and nerve. In recent years, it has been found that pyroptosis plays an important role in T2DM and its complications. This article reviews the relationship and mechanism between pyroptosis and T2DM and its complications.
