中性粒细胞对肿瘤的抑制作用

摘 要:

中性粒细胞(neutrophil) 作为先天免疫系统中重要的效应细胞,在机体免疫和炎症反应中发挥关键作用。作为抵御细菌和真菌感染的第一道防线,中性粒细胞具有杀灭入侵病原体的能力。在恶性肿瘤的病理状态下,中性粒细胞的表型发生改变,发挥促进或抑制肿瘤发展的双重功能。如何抑制中性粒细胞的促瘤活性并增强其抑瘤活性是肿瘤治疗领域的重要科学问题。对于中性粒细胞的促肿瘤效应,在很多综述中已有较多的介绍,而对中性粒细胞的抑瘤作用,目前综述涉及较少。该文重点介绍中性粒细胞的生物学特征及其抑瘤机制,为靶向中性粒细胞从而防治肿瘤提供参考。

Inhibitory effect of neutrophils on tumors

Abstract:

Neutrophils, as important effector cells in the innate immune system, play a key role in the coordination of immune and inflammatory responses. As the first line of defense against bacterial and fungal infections, neutrophils have the ability to kill invading pathogens. In the pathological state of malignant tumors, neutrophils have dual functions of promoting or inhibiting tumor development, according to changing phenotypes. How to inhibit the tumor-promoting activity and enhance the tumor-suppressive activity of neutrophils is an important scientific issue in tumor therapy. The tumor-promoting effect of neutrophils has already been introduced, while the tumor-suppressive effect of neutrophils is less involved in current reviews. This article focuses on the biological characteristics of neutrophils and their tumor-inhibiting mechanisms, aming to provide references for targeting neutrophils to treat tumors.
