光遗传学在精神分裂症研究中的应用

摘 要:

精神分裂症是一种严重的精神疾病,通常表现为异常的行为和精神模式;其复杂的发病机制促使人们不断探索其更深入的病理结构,以及行之有效的治疗靶点。光遗传学是结合了光学与遗传学的一门新技术,愈来愈多地应用于神经细胞调控、环路整合、信号转导等一系列细胞生理或病理状态下的研究,其精准的时相控制与特异的细胞选择性无疑将会大力推动生理学、神经科学等领域的研究。该文从精神分裂症的各个研究层面,综述了光遗传学在精神分裂症研究中的应用,探讨精神分裂症的光遗传学调控及可能的治疗策略。

Application of optogenetics in the study of schizophrenia

Abstract:

Schizophrenia is a serious mental illness that is usually manifested as abnormal behaviors and psychiatric patterns. Owing to the complicated pathogenesis, it is necessary to conduct in-depth explorations on the pathological structure and effective therapeutic targets. Optogenetics is a novel technology involving both optics and genetics, which has been increasingly applied to the research of neural cell regulation, circuit integration, signal transduction and cellular physiological or pathological activities. Its precise temporal control and specific cell selectivity undoubtedly and vigorously promote the research in the fields of physiology and neuroscience. This study aims to review the application of optogenetics in the research of schizophrenia, and explore the optogenetic regulation as well as potential therapeutic strategies for schizophrenia.
