病毒感染与宿主细胞线粒体动力学及线粒体自噬

摘 要:

线粒体是细胞的重要功能性细胞器。线粒体动力学与线粒体自噬二者之间可互相调控,共同构成线粒体质量控制的重要环节。线粒体动力学平衡和线粒体自噬极易受到细胞外界环境变化,诸如病毒感染的影响。病毒与宿主细胞线粒体相互作用,可引起宿主细胞线粒体动力学和线粒体自噬发生变化,相关变化在促进病毒感染、抵御细胞凋亡、建立持续感染等重要事件中起到了重要作用。该文将重点综述病毒感染过程中病毒蛋白组分及病毒粒子引起的线粒体动力学、线粒体自噬相关变化,以及相关变化在病毒感染中的功能,对相关机制的理解有望为抗病毒感染治疗提供新的思路。

Interaction of virus infection with host cell mitochondrial dynamics and mitophagy

Abstract:

Mitochondria are vital functional organelle of cells. Through reciprocal regulation, mitochondrial
dynamics and mitophagy act together in the regulation of mitochondrial quality control. Mitochondrial dynamics and mitophagy are highly susceptible to environmental changes. When infected with a virus, the standard conditions of mitochondrial dynamics and mitophagy of host cells might be affected by direct or indirect interactions of the virus with cell mitochondria. The related alteration may play a critical role in virus infection acceleration, cell apoptosis resistance, and virus persistent infection. This review focused on mitochondrial dynamics and mitophagy changes caused by viral protein components or entire viral particles. The role of virus-caused related mitochondria change in the process of virus infection was also reviewed. Understanding of virus interplay with those two processes may provide new insight for antiviral treatment.
