O-长链脂肪酸修饰在Wnt功能调控中的作用

摘 要:

脂酰化是重要的蛋白质翻译后修饰之一。Wnt蛋白是重要的O-脂酰化修饰底物,几乎涉及胚胎发育的各个方面,并控制许多成年组织的自我更新。O-脂酰化修饰影响Wnt的成熟、分泌和活性,该修饰相关基因的突变可导致多种疾病的发生。该文将围绕着Wnt的O-脂酰化,系统地阐述该类修饰的动态调节、对蛋白质功能的影响及其与疾病之间的关系。

The role of O-long chain fatty acid modification in the regulation of Wnt function

Abstract:

Acylation is an important post-translational modification of proteins. As an important O-acylation modified protein, Wnt involves in almost all aspects of embryonic development and controls the self-renewal of many adult tissues. O-acylation affects Wnt’s maturation, secretion and activity. Mutations in O-acylation related genes could lead to a variety of diseases. This review will focus on the dynamic regulation of the O-acylation of Wnt to discuss its effects on protein function, and its relationship to diseases.
