摘 要:摘 要:SUMO (small ubiquitin-related modifier) 化修饰作为一种可逆的蛋白质翻译后修饰,从发现至今已有20 余年。细胞内被确认能发生SUMO 化修饰的蛋白质已超过3 000 种。SUMO 化修饰能够调控蛋白质的活性,从而影响细胞内诸多生命活动过程,参与了对细胞生理与病理过程的调控。该综述在简要介绍蛋白质SUMO 化修饰的基础上,将重点介绍蛋白质SUMO 化修饰在疾病发生发展中的相关作用。
Abstract: Abstract: It has been for more than twenty years to identify protein modification by small ubiquitin-like modifier (SUMOylation). Protein SUMOylation is a reversible process. More than 3 000 peptides have been reported to be conjugated by SUMO in cells. SUMOylation can affect protein function and play a vital role in physiology as well as pathology. In this review, we will focus on roles of protein SUMOylation in pathogenesis.
