RNA修饰分布特征概述

摘 要:摘 要:RNA 修饰研究是表观遗传研究领域的新热点之一,近年来多种RNA 修饰陆续被研究者发现,如6-甲基腺嘌呤(m6A)、5-甲基胞嘧啶(m5C)、假尿嘧啶(ψ)等,通过高通量测序结合生物信息学分析揭示了这些RNA 修饰的分布特征。不同的RNA 修饰在转录本上具有其特异的分布特征,并与所发挥的RNA 加工和代谢功能密切相关。随着RNA 修饰检测和测序技术的发展以及单细胞、单碱基分辨率等新兴技术的兴起,RNA 修饰的分布特征及规律将会得到更精确、更深入的解析。该文主要介绍目前研究比较深入的几种RNA修饰在转录本上的分布特征,并对目前该方向面临的主要机遇与挑战进行讨论。

Abstract: Abstract: RNA modifications have become as one of the hotspots in epigenetics. N6-methyladenosine (m6A), 5-methylcytosine (m5C), pseudouridylation (ψ) and many other types of modifications have been identified in recent years. They displayed distinct distribution features and these features are closely associated with their RNA posttranscriptional processing. Development of traditional detecting techniques, single-cell, single base resolution sequencing and other novel emerging technologies opens the possibility of more precise and deeper analysis for RNA modifications. Here, we mainly introduce the distribution features of RNA modifications and discuss its future challenges and perspectives.
