Abstract: Abstract: SIRT1 is a class III histone NAD+ dependent deacetylase, which is an important molecule in agingrelated signaling pathway, and plays a pivotal role in the cell aging process. MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are endogenous, ~22 nucleotides, small non-coding RNAs which typically regulate gene expression after transcription by affecting the stability or translation of targeted mRNA. Studies have shown that miRNAs can promote cellular senescence by regulating the expression of SIRT1. This review describes the potential functions of miRNAs in the regulation of SIRT1.
