miRNAs对线粒体功能的调控作用

摘 要:摘 要:线粒体除了为细胞生理活动提供能量外,还参与了其他生命过程的调控。线粒体是一个动态的架构,持续地分裂与融合以维持它的完整性,该平衡的破坏和线粒体嵴形态学的改变与多种病理过程和疾病相关。miRNAs 是一类小分子非编码RNA,它通过结合到mRNAs 的3′-UTR 区域,从而抑制mRNA 的翻译,促进mRNA的降解。特定的miRNAs 在线粒体中表达丰富。miRNA 可能参与了线粒体结构、代谢和功能的调控。

Abstract: Abstract: Mitochondria play a critical role in the cells, and dysfunction of mitochondria is related to a variety of pathological processes and diseases. MicroRNAs (miRNAs) can bind to the 3′-untranslated region (3′-UTR) of mRNAs, thereby inhibiting mRNA translation or promoting mRNA degradation. This review summarized the molecular regulation of mitochondrial metabolism, structure, and function by miRNAs.
