摘 要:线粒体转录因子A(mitochondrial transcription factor A,TFAM)是参与线粒体DNA转录激活和调节线粒体DNA拷贝数的重要因子。TFAM由核基因编码,并被转入线粒体内发挥调节作用。除了转录激活作用外,TFAM还参与维持线粒体DNA(mitochondrial DNA, mtDNA)的拷贝数,改善线粒体功能以及调控肌浆网钙ATP酶表达等。就TFAM的分子生物学结构、生物学功能及调节方面进行综述。

Abstract: Abstract: Mitochondrial transcription factor A(TFAM) is a key regulator, which involves in mitochondrial DNA(mt DNA) transcription and mtDNA copy number. It is encoded by nuclear gene and is transported into mitochondria. TFAM not only regulates mtDNA transcription and mtDNA copy number, but also ameliorates mitochondrial function and regulates sarcoplasmic reticulum Ca2+ ATPase gene transcription. The molecular structure, functions and regulation of TFAM are reviewed in this paper.
